I wanted to share with you about some of my favourite doTERRA supplements and why I love them so much.
To support our individual health and lifestyle doTerra have used cutting edge scientific developments to create specialist supplements. Designed to give extra support in a range of areas, these specialised supplements each target a particular system of the body, to give us the boosts we need.
Everyone is different. Our unique lifestyle raises its own challenges which we somehow have to manage – often not very well. As an Essential Oil advocate and educator I meet a wide range of people, and what makes me truly love my job is helping them find a solution to their lifestyle challenges that works for them!
I feel that doTERRA products have such an immense range of benefits and are so often overlooked in preference to more traditional medication. I absolutely know that there is a place for natural alternative therapies, with essential oils being used alongside more conventional medicine, and I love to see the incredible results when this works.
I have put together this blog to help inform and educate you on the doTERRRA Specialist Supplements, each targeted for more individual needs. It is worth reading over these as one may offer the right support for your own particular health challenges. Please be aware that all of the supplements detailed below are developed with different diets in mind and any capsule products are vegetarian friendly.
Supplement for an Active Lifestyle
With an active lifestyle and regular physical exertion you may find you regularly suffer from aches, pains and discomfort during your muscle recovery. Deep Blue has been developed by DoTerra to support sore and tired muscles. You can buy a topical DeepBlue muscle rub that soothes your muscles, however this ingestible supplement is also available to help support your recovery at a cellular level.

Cellular Complex
Formulated to give optimal cellular support against free-radicals, DDR Prime is calming to the nervous system, supports the brain and helps to protect the body at a cellular level against oxidative stress.
A blend of Clove,Thyme, Litsea, Wild Orange (each of which are powerful antioxidants) as well as Frankincense, Lemongrass, Summer Savory and Niaouli essential oils, all help to support a healthy immune response. In studies each of these oils has individually shown a response to free-radicals, supporting cellular renewal and contributing to normal and healthy cell function.
Energy and Stamina Complex
This is a proprietary formula, designed to support optimal mitochondrial function. Mitochondria are “The “powerhouses of the cell”. The parts of cells that turn sugars, fats and proteins that we eat, into forms of chemical energy that the body can use to carry on living.”*
Plant extracts and metabolic co-factors formulate Mito2Max, a healthy, natural alternative to caffeinated drinks and supplements for increased energy and vitality. The primary ingredient is Acetyl-L-carnitine which supports mental health, mitochondrial function and brian circulation.
It works alongside Oligonol®†, a unique and powerful antioxidant blend that combines biologically active polyphenols, derived from lychee fruit and green tea, in a form that allows them to be quickly absorbed. This is a great natural alternative to sugary, caffeine-fuelled drinks. I take this every day to help with energy levels and to keep be going and feeling alert throughout the day. Note: Avoid using before sleep

Seasonal Blend. Supports the respiratory system and protects against seasonal and environmental elements*
If you are affected by the changing seasons, this can impact your energy levels, your respiratory system and increase congestion. . Over the counter medicines can help to alleviate these symptoms, however they often contain additional sugars and additives.
TriEase provides support during times of seasonal discomfort, and brings together the powerful properties of essential oils to promote well-being when seasonal or environmental threats are high.
Supports the Immune System
We all know the feeling of being run down when our immune system is struggling. On Guard is a blend of essential oils that together provide a natural way to strengthen and maintain our immune system. There is a whole range of incredible products in the OnGuard range that I could not live without.
The OnGuard softgels are one of the specialist supplements range and contain a blend of Wild Orange, Clove, Black Pepper, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, Oregano, Rosemary and Melissa essential oils, all of which are known for their positive effects on the immune system, and their ability to protect against environmental threats.
We take these at the first sign of feeling unwell to help support our immune systems so that we bounce back quickly.
Aids Sleep Quality
This has to be one of my favourite doTERRA products. Lack of sleep can lead to so many different health issues and if you find from time to time that you can’t get to sleep easily, you need to try this. It is a fabulous, natural essential oil blend, with ingredients that work together to calm the nervous system, reduce stress and help to promote restful sleep. The benefit of using a product derived from natural ingredients is that you won’t wake up with a groggy feeling the next day.
Made with a blend of lavender essential oil and L-Theanine along with lemon balm, passionflower and chamomile to gently promote relaxation and sleep.
Natural Cleansing
For natural detoxification these softgels help support your body’s natural cleansing systems. This gentle cleansing helps to support your vital functions and shake off that weighed down feeling that slows you down.
These softgels are made from a blend of Tangerine, Rosemary, Geranium, Juniper Berry, and Cilantro essential oils. These oils are known for their detoxifying properties and ability to support liver function.
